Job Summary
Security Officer for Wilkes-Barre General Hospital (2nd Shift). Provide a safe atmosphere for patients, visitors and employees; protect hospital buildings, assets and premises. Requires up to one year of supervised training and obtaining the Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) designation within one year. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required. Responsibilities include controlling emergencies and crises, maintaining safety, and demonstrating observant, empathetic and professional conduct; strong communication and clerical accuracy or related skills.
