Job Summary
Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution by allowing appropriate entry, collecting tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing foot and parking traffic. Initiate greetings to guests at facility entrances, aisles, and concourses while providing helpful directions to enhance their experience. Demonstrate understanding of venue policies, procedures, and regulations to enforce rules logically and de-escalate conflicts or handle emergency situations with composure. Maintain operational efficiency and cleanliness of designated areas while ensuring superior customer service. Valid NYS Security Guard License and high school diploma required; flexible Monday through Sunday shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid NYS Security Guard License
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ability to de-escalate conflicts and maintain composure in challenging situations
- Ability to handle emergency situations and provide excellent customer service
- Understanding of traffic management procedures and parking regulations
- Ability to enforce rules logically and apply good judgment skills
- Attentive listening skills: ability to listen to customers, offer positive solutions, and assert authority only when necessary
- Candidates should be flexible Monday - Sunday
- Morning/Afternoons, and Evenings
