Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •At least 18 years of age
• •High school diploma or GED certificate
• •One (1) year of work experience with a municipal, state, or federal law enforcement agency, military police unit, corrections activity, or private security company within the past five years
• •Able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge upon hire
• •State of Alaska Unarmed Security Guard License or able to obtain
• •Must have reliable transportation to/from the work site
• •Driver's license strongly preferred
• •Able to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English
• •Strong communication and customer service/public relations skills
• •Maturity of judgement and behavior
• •Ability to present a professional image with a strong commitment to honesty, integrity and ethics
• •Ability to communicate respectfully with all visitors, coworkers, vendors, supervisors, managers, customers and client representatives
• •Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly
• •Must have basic phone and computer skills
• •Ability to work well under pressure
• •Ability to work well alone and within a team
• •Reliable access to a smartphone capable of running apps for scheduling, timekeeping (clocking in/out), shift communications, and time-off requests
• •Must be able to pass the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen, criminal background investigation and post-offer physical/functional capacity evaluation
• •Must be able to stay alert at all times to ensure the safety of protected assets
• •Must comply with established dress code/uniform requirements
