Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols of retail common areas, parking zones, and tenant spaces to deter incidents and identify hazards. Respond to disturbances and critical situations while documenting observations per site procedures. Monitor access points, direct visitors, and report unauthorized activity to management or law enforcement. Provide customer service to shoppers, staff, and tenants by executing security procedures and emergency responses. Maintain detailed daily activity reports and communicate professionally with emergency responders.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Experience operating a Segway or T3 is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- CPR certification is preferred
