Job Summary
Manage entry procedures, verify credentials, and direct authorized personnel at a logistics and distribution location in Phoenix, AZ. Monitor vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at gates while conducting regular patrols of the facility perimeter and loading zones to deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations by following established site procedures, documenting visitor arrivals, and communicating access concerns to leadership. Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by supporting badge access and addressing security-related issues. Requires a valid driver's license, access control experience, and availability for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Background investigation and drug screen are required prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
