Security Officer, Subtitute

Conduct guard and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, and disasters in compliance with government and management directives. Secure building and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks, and emergency equipment while maintaining logs of findings and corrective actions. Perform parking and traffic control duties, conduct routine vehicle equipment inspections, and respond to fire alarms by reporting fires, assisting in suppression, and resetting alarm equipment. Set up and check intrusion alarm systems as required and assist staff and law enforcement in controlling disturbances and conducting preliminary crime investigations. Work Prime or Midnight shifts on an on-call basis.
