Job Summary
Inspect the interior and exterior of the building for physical security issues and control traffic in a safe, orderly manner. Respond to incidents requiring First Aid, CPR, or AED, and prepare incident and investigation reports. Educate team members on safe practices and shrink control while collaborating with other officers to ensure a secure environment. Greet customers with a friendly attitude and report all in-store accidents to the proper departments. This role involves working 2-3 overnight shifts in extreme weather conditions with occasional vehicle use.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years and older
- Entry level – 1 to 2 years experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license required
- Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
- Great customer service
- Knowledge of the Bloodborne Pathogen standards
- Basic knowledge of CCTV
- Good oral communication
- Excellent work ethic
- 2-3 Overnight shifts required
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including overnight shifts
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (winter weather)
- This position requires frequent walking and standing and occasional exposure to weather
Desired Qualifications
- Security Guard License preferred
