Security Officer - Split Shift

Job Summary
Security Officer — Split Shift: Enforce laws and center policies, patrol assigned areas, transport students in company vehicle, provide escort and visitor services, maintain accountability logs, conduct security and safety checks, perform searches as needed, respond to disturbances and safety concerns, participate in disciplinary processes, and attend required training. Must be able to work the specified split shift schedule (Wed-Fri 3:00 PM–12:00 AM; Sat-Sun 11:30 PM–8:30 AM) and hold a high school diploma and a valid state driver’s license; preferred candidates may have Class B license with passenger/air brake endorsement and CPR/FA certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Preferred: Class B License with passenger/air brake endorsement
- CPR/FA Certification
- Knowledge of crowd control techniques
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures
- Ability to obtain a bus driver’s license
- Good writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
