Job Summary
Screen guests with hand wands and walk them through metal detectors while escorting clients and talent at high-profile Red Carpet show events. Assist with the setup and movement of equipment including metal detectors and tables. Maintain a secure environment for clients, the public, and the community in a Hollywood location. This role requires standing and roving post duties, overtime, and weekend/holiday shifts. Candidates must hold a BSIS Guard Card, pass a criminal background check, and meet physical requirements for climbing stairs. Prior event specialist experience and military or law enforcement background are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Proficient and able to communicate in English
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable serving the public
- Current BSIS Guard Card or be qualified to obtain one
- Be able to work overtime and on various shifts as needed; including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of Standing and/or walking, climbing stairs, etc. for a full shift
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Event Specialist experience preferred
- Former and current military, law enforcement, and or certified security professionals
- Recent grads
