Job Summary
The Security Officer will patrol assigned areas, monitor surveillance systems, respond to alarms, and enforce access control protocols to maintain safety for employees, clients, and visitors. Candidates will need to write detailed incident reports and assist in emergencies. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and skills in observation and communication. Prior experience in related fields is preferred but not mandatory, and training will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Pass background check and drug test
- Must have reliable transportation
- Complete training modules within first month
- Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
- Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
- Valid security license or certification (if required by state/country)
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to patrol and respond quickly
