Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned retail areas including sales floors, entrances, parking, and perimeters to deter incidents and identify unusual activity. Respond to security concerns and critical situations by following site procedures and communicating with store personnel or emergency responders. Provide customer service to shoppers and staff while documenting observations and incidents accurately. Maintain a visible presence to support a welcoming environment and deter unauthorized access or theft.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license
