Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned interior, exterior, and perimeter areas to deter security incidents and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by notifying site contacts or emergency services while documenting observations and maintaining accurate logs. Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by verifying visitor authorization and enforcing site-specific procedures. Support a respectful environment at a government services location by helping to prevent unauthorized access and disruptive behavior. Work a rotating day shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- At least one year of security-related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screen
