Job Summary
Security Officer at a luxury hotel brand focused on hospitality and safety. Responsibilities include patrolling interior and exterior areas, enforcing safety and security policies, responding to incidents, monitoring access to restricted spaces, crowd control during events, preparing incident reports, conducting Lost & Found, escorting guests and staff as needed, responding to disturbances or violence per policy, providing First Aid/CPR/AED within training scope, assisting with emergency evacuations, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires strong customer service, de-escalation, decision-making under pressure, capability to work independently or in a team, and familiarity with security software and reporting tools. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Alcohol Awareness certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Any required state or local security licenses must be obtained and maintained
- Prior experience in security, loss prevention, military, or law enforcement preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must successfully complete company-required security training and annual assessments
- Proficiency with basic computer systems, security software, reporting tools, and mobile devices
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol indoors and outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
