Job Summary
Screen visitors, packages, and deliveries by verifying credentials, operating X-Ray equipment, and directing individuals to appropriate entry points. Conduct regular patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, loading zones, and the perimeter while documenting security activities and reporting unusual conditions. Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner by communicating observations to site contacts and leadership. Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and delivery personnel while maintaining a professional, respectful presence. Perform duties during day shifts from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Thursdays through Sundays at a technology-focused location in North Andover, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred
- Access control/badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
