Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate entry points. Operate screening equipment and complete required inspections while maintaining a professional, respectful, and customer-focused presence. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter; document security-related activities and report unusual conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred
- Access control/badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
