Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures, helping to identify unauthorized items or access concerns. Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting entry to restricted or controlled areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entrances, business operations, and the perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and unusual activity.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
