Job Summary
Screen visitors, packages, and belongings entering designated areas by executing site-specific screening protocols and verifying credentials at access points. Monitor entry points and screening equipment to report suspicious activity, while conducting regular patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts or leadership as needed. Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel to maintain a secure environment. Work part-time shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays in Kansas City, KS.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
