Job Summary
Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Control vehicle and personnel access in accordance with established procedures, enforcing Sizemore's and client's policies. Document security activity with Daily Activity Reports and complete incident reports as required. Respond to emergency situations and operate specialized equipment such as Closed-Circuit Television Systems and vehicle scales. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy. Drive a culture of constant improvement by identifying projects to increase effectiveness and efficiency. Work Monday through Wednesday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm and Sundays from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Must possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Required Qualifications
- Must have a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or recipient of GED
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to pass a criminal background
- Ability to pass a clean MVR check (if driving)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and random employment drug screens
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, military or law enforcement
- Proficient with MS Office programs
