Job Summary
The EMT/Safety & Security Officer leads patrolling responsibilities across SPHHC properties on two campuses (over 2.2 million sq ft) as the core of the Safety Management Department, providing 24/7 coverage, responding to incidents, and serving as a primary resource for patients, visitors, employees, and property. Requires National Provider BLS, Montana PSP Security Guard license within 60 days, MT EMT license within 1 year, and Aggressive Behavior Certification within 180 days, plus data-entry proficiency. The role supports a patient-focused security program within a hospital setting and may involve coordinating safety and security operations across multiple facilities.
Required Qualifications
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Montana PSP Security Guard License - Montana Board of Private Security within 60 days of hire
- Montana Emergency Medical Technician License within 1 year of hire
- Management of Aggressive Behavior Certification within 180 days of hire
- Prior typing/keyboard experience to enter and retrieve data in an accurate and timely manner
