Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at a manufacturing and industrial location to deter security-related incidents, including conducting regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established site protocols, while verifying visitor and contractor authorization and maintaining accurate logs and incident documentation. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed. Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and unusual activity to site leadership. Work a day shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
