Job Summary
Unarmed Security Officer on a construction-site in Roseville, CA. Responsibilities include patrol of job site perimeter, entrances, equipment staging areas and building zones; monitor and control site access for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors; maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, and trespassing; verify proper credentials before allowing access; respond to emergencies such as break-ins, fires, equipment tampering, or safety hazards; secure tools, vehicles, and heavy equipment at end of shifts; complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports as needed; lock/unlock gates and trailers according to schedule; report suspicious activity to site supervisors or law enforcement; conduct safety check-ins and coordinate with site managers to ensure security compliance. Required qualifications include a valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record, active California Guard Card, high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years verifiable experience), 18+ years old, strong customer service, ability to walk/stand/travel between sites, and weekend availability; background check and drug screening will be conducted per applicable laws. The role emphasizes greeting and directing visitors, patrolling, access control, reporting, and ensuring safety across client sites.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent, OR 5 years of verifiable experience
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must possess an active California Guard Card
- Strong customer service skills required
- Must be able to walk, stand, and travel between job sites during shifts
- Available on weekends
