Job Summary
Conduct security patrols, verify guest and visitor identification, and enforce traffic safety protocols across the resort property. Maintain accurate logs for gate access, incident reports, and shift handovers while inspecting facilities and documenting unoccupied sites. Respond to service calls, assist guests and employees, and adhere to all company policies and safety procedures. Perform duties including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and walking in various Florida weather conditions. Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid DL is required
- Must have or be able to obtain a Class D Security License within 30 days of employment
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required based on business need
- Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong computer skills
- Must be able to sit, stand, run, and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc
- Comfortable to perform the essential functions of the role in various types of Florida weather conditions including: sunshine, heat, and rain
- Comfortable to complete repetitive motions, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- English language proficiency is required to perform the essential functions of this position
Desired Qualifications
- Security experience of at least 1 year is preferred
- Large luxury resort/hotel experience is a plus
