Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, maintenance issues, and disturbances while providing customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and public agency personnel. Monitor access points for visitors and deliveries, document observations, and report unusual conditions to leadership or emergency responders. Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports, and follow site-specific security procedures and emergency response protocols. Requires a valid New York State Security Guard License and a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
