Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking, and perimeter zones, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents. Respond to security-related concerns and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements. Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities while monitoring access points and visitor activity. Report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. This role supports Allied Universal's commercial real estate clients in Denver, CO, with a day shift from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
