Job Summary
Perform exterior patrols, maintain official visitor logs and sign-in/out sheets, and write clear daily logs and incident reports. Proactively respond to and resolve emergencies, provide first aid, and communicate problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of site duties and safety standards. Requires valid BC Security Licence, Canadian residency for clearance, OFA1 (or willing to obtain), and a Class 5 Driver's Licence. Strong English skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle emergencies; proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment; experience in serving the public or working with law enforcement; physical fitness for extensive foot patrols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BC Security Licence
- Lived in Canada for minimum 5 years for clearance purposes and be a Canadian Citizen or have a valid PR
- OFA 1 or willing to obtain
- Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Ability to conduct extensive foot patrols
- Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills
- Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public/working with law enforcement
