Job Summary
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to safeguard personnel, property, and classified information. Greet guests and employees while escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points. Respond to and assess security or emergency alarms, acting as a first responder in emergency situations. Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication. Work a schedule including Friday 6am-5pm and Sunday through Tuesday 3pm-11pm at a DoD site requiring a Secret Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
- Must have a valid clean driving record
- Must possess one or more of the following: Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
- Must possess one or more of the following: Prior military experience
- Must possess one or more of the following: Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess one or more of the following: Exceptional customer service skills
- Must possess one or more of the following: Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
Desired Qualifications
- Must possess one or more of the following: 2+ years Military, Law Enforcement, or First Responder experience
- Must possess one or more of the following: Associate Degree in Criminal Justice (or higher)
- Must possess one or more of the following: 5+ years verifiable industrial security experience
- Must possess one or more of the following: All qualifying experience must be within the last 10 years
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
