Job Summary
Security Officer (Part-Time Overnight) responsible for controlling entrances, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain a professional image with strong customer service, monitor cameras and alarms, coordinate with local authorities when needed, complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and stay current with post orders and safety procedures. Must be punctual, able to work with a team, and knowledgeable about life safety systems and equipment to ensure continuous safe operation.
Required Qualifications
- Be on time and report to post in full uniform
- Maintain professional image and greet customers politely
- Proactive in knowing post orders and customer information
- Patrol property and monitor for suspicious activity
- Report incidents and maintain logs/reports
- Knowledge of life safety and emergency procedures
- Communicate issues daily with Security Supervisor
