Job Summary
Direct general direction from the Security Manager to perform full technical security protective duties, including enforcing facility policies, investigating criminal conduct, restraining patients, and detaining individuals as necessary. Provide protective services to high-risk areas and respond to emergent situations within the local service area. Requires two years of law enforcement, security, or military experience, plus one year within the Kadlec Security department, along with passing the Security Department SO2 Promotion Test and oral board. Required Qualifications
- 2 years of Law Enforcement/Security/Military/Corrections experience, or related work experience in a healthcare setting, or relevant college coursework deemed important to the job
- 1 year of experience working within the Kadlec Security department
- passage of the Security Department SO2 Promotion Test
- passage of a Security Department administered oral board
- proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, History, or English
- Experience in healthcare setting
