Job Summary
Receive general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor, or Lead Security Officer to perform protective duties for patients, visitors, staff, and facilities against accidents, fire, theft, and illegal entry. Enforce policies, investigate criminal conduct reports, respond to alarms, and provide protective services in high-risk areas. Conduct vehicle and foot patrols, manage patient transports, perform site surveys, and assist in training clinic personnel. Mobile positions may include threat assessments and special details, with potential support across the Oregon Region. Requires Oregon Private Security Armed or Unarmed Professional certification and a Temporary Work Permit. Driving is necessary for vehicle patrols and patient transport.
Required Qualifications
- Oregon Private Security Armed/Unarmed Professional - Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training
- Oregon Private Security Unarmed Professional - Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training
- Private Security Temporary Work Permit PS-20
- Driving may be necessary as part of this role
- 1 year of experience using personal computer with standard Microsoft applications
Desired Qualifications
- Coursework/Training and College level coursework in professionally related fields such as criminal justice, social work, psychology or any social science
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- 1 year of Security/law enforcement experience such as corrections, police, reserve and military police
- Direct patient care experience in a healthcare industry
