Job Summary
Conduct unarmed foot and vehicle patrols of hospital grounds, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems while controlling access and egress. Document observations of unusual conditions, warn violators of rule infractions, and permit authorized entry while ensuring no contraband enters or exits. Assist hospital staff with de-escalation, restrain combative individuals as necessary, transport patients to the morgue, and escort patients from the helicopter pad to the emergency room. Sound alarms or call police/fire during fires, medical emergencies, or unauthorized presence, and investigate incidents to prepare detailed reports. Maintain written logs of accidents, suspicious activities, and property protection measures. This healthcare security role requires M-F morning shifts with a drug screening and TB test requirement.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of Security Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current driver's license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable employment history relating customer service or the protective service industry
- preferably security, healthcare, military, law enforcement, or corrections
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public

Desired Qualifications
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
- Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
- Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
