Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at a telecommunications and media location, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, technical areas, parking facilities, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify concerns. Verify credentials, report suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, and maintenance issues, and respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts or emergency responders as needed. Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports per site policies. This part-time role in Louisville, KY, includes flexible scheduling and access to the Claim a Shift platform for earning additional shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
