Job Summary
Protect patients, visitors, employees, and volunteers by monitoring premises and enforcing policies within an ambulatory clinic setting. Operate security technology (surveillance cameras, access control, alarms), respond to emergencies, conduct searches, and assist with safety drills. Utilize de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts, ensure HIPAA compliance when reporting incidents, and participate in routine safety and investigations. This PRN role involves coordinating with HR and security teams to maintain a safe environment and support rapid, organized responses to incidents such as alarms, bomb threats, and violent incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Current Driver’s License (if applicable for the role). Current Basic Life Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire. At least 21 years of age.
