Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for safeguarding assets and ensuring a safe environment by observing and reporting activities, responding to emergencies, transporting casino funds, and restricting access to sensitive areas. Duties include ejecting guests as directed, transporting revenues to the Cashier’s Cage, inspecting security devices, and providing first aid as needed. Requires good math and writing skills, effective communication, CPO certification or enrollment within one year, and WA State Liquor Board Class 12 Mixologist permit within 60 days of hire; must have a HS diploma or GED and be able to type 20 wpm; familiar with basic computer programs. Working conditions include smoky casino floor, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- CPO certified or enrolled in a course within one year of accepting position
- Possess Washington State Liquor Board Class 12 Mixologist permit, within 60 days of hire
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
