Job Summary
Maintain order in an assigned area by remaining alert for safety hazards, accidents, disorderly conduct, thefts, and guests needing assistance. Provide public relations assistance by giving directions or aid in certain situations. Remain calm in emergency situations with good oral and written communication skills, notifying the supervisor immediately if incidents occur. Prepare Daily Activity and Incident Reports covering all activity and incidents during the shift. This role reports to the Director of Security at Sam Houston Race Park, a leading provider of integrated entertainment, sports content, and casino gaming experiences across North America.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous Security experience
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain order in an assigned area
- Ability to be alert for safety hazards, accidents, disorderly conduct, thefts, guests needing assistance
- Ability to notify supervisor immediately if incidents occur
- Ability to provide public relations assistance by giving directions or aid in certain situations
- Ability to prepare Daily Activity and Incident Reports covering all activity and incidents during the shift
Desired Qualifications
- Private Security License preferred
