Job Summary
Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter illegal activities and ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property at the Coconut Grove branch. Monitor and authorize entrance while following standard operating procedures, utilizing Guard Tour Management software to inspect premises for security risks. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, deescalating tense situations through excellent customer service and collaboration with law enforcement. Accurately document all incidents and observations using company-approved forms, ensuring compliance with state regulations and maintaining current Class D security licensure in Florida.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class "D" Security License in the state of Florida
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be capable of functioning independently and remaining calm in high-pressure or intense situations
- Must comply with all state regulations, including maintaining current unarmed security licensure in Florida
