Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols throughout warehouse floors, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by documenting details and sharing information with site contacts and leadership. Monitor access points and vehicle traffic to verify credentials and shipping documentation, reporting access concerns or damaged gates. Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees while executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Support loss prevention by observing inbound and outbound activity and reporting suspicious behavior. Work part-time shifts including Thursday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Friday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM at a logistics and distribution location in Jeffersonville, IN. Earn $18.00 per hour as an unarmed patrol officer.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
