Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns at government facilities. Provide customer service to visitors and personnel while conducting regular unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and entry points. Verify visitor authorization, maintain accurate logs, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Work part-time shifts including Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons at a location in Milford, DE.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
