Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at educational locations, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and support a welcoming campus environment. Engage with students, faculty, staff, and visitors through customer service and clear communication while reporting security concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, following established campus protocols. Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of academic buildings, parking areas, walkways, and the perimeter. Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations through accurate reports. Work a day shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
