Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned educational areas, including academic buildings, parking, and perimeters, to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by following campus protocols while engaging students, staff, and visitors through clear communication. Document patrol activities and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Work a day shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM in Norwalk, CT, as part of Allied Universal's team serving diverse industries.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
