Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, problem-solving manner following established protocols. Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts. Work part-time day shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, at a government transportation location in Fort Worth, TX.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
