Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at a grocery retail location, including sales floors, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter. Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and other concerning behavior. Document incidents, observations, and policy violations, communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Work day shifts from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Sunday, at a location in Ontario, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
