Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting relevant information. Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials, and assist with visitor, driver, and delivery traffic flow. Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Maintain awareness of changing conditions around shipping and warehouse operations. Work a day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Thursday through Sunday, at a site in San Bernardino, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
