Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control requirements. Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to leadership and site contacts. Work a part-time day shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) Monday through Wednesday in Richmond, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card or license is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
