Job Summary
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership. Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Work a fixed six-month commitment with the option to claim additional shifts via our scheduling platform.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Desired Qualifications
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
