Job Summary
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security protocols at a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with property procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs. This role requires a six-month fixed-shift commitment with the option to pick up additional shifts through the Smart Tools platform. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, and have a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
