Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at a busy retail mall location, remaining visible to deter security incidents while delivering customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by documenting details and communicating with site contacts or local responders. Conduct regular patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, parking zones, and the exterior perimeter to identify unusual activity and report concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic zones to support loss prevention efforts by observing policy issues and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance needs. Assist with crowd management, visitor assistance, and closing procedures while following post instructions. Schedule includes days from 8 AM to 4 PM, 4 PM to midnight, and 8 AM to 4 PM across Tue through Fri.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Desired Qualifications
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
