Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, exits, and surrounding grounds to identify unusual activity or maintenance concerns. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations with a calm, professional problem-solving approach while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities. Monitor access points and visitor activity to verify authorization, then report security-related concerns with integrity through accurate activity, incident, and shift reports. Communicate with site management, emergency responders, and leadership regarding hazards requiring follow-up. Work a day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Bronx, NY, with a high school diploma and valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
