Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at technology, media, and telecommunications locations while maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents. Verify credentials at access points, document visitor and contractor records, and respond to alarms or critical situations with professional problem-solving. Communicate access concerns to site contacts and use computer or tablet tools to log activity and complete incident reports. Conduct regular patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking lots, and exterior perimeters to identify unauthorized activity. Report unusual conditions, hazards, or maintenance issues from security systems and cameras as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
