Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at technology, media, and telecommunications locations to deter security incidents and maintain a visible presence. Verify credentials, document activity via computer or tablet, and respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations with professional problem-solving. Conduct random patrols of office spaces, parking areas, and perimeters while monitoring security systems and reporting hazards. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by enforcing site-specific procedures and emergency response protocols. Work part-time shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
