Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security protocols at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points, check credentials, and document activities in accordance with post orders. Work part-time day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. A guard card is preferred; applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
